GEOMDISS Work packages

The work is divided into three scientific work packages (WP). WP1 is focused on geometric gates in circuit QED setups, WP2 is focused on geometric pumping of charge in superconducting circuits, and WP3 is focused on geometric effects in quantum dots and nanowires.

The objective of WP3 is to develop a theoretical description of geometric effects in semiconducting and spin systems. These include quantum dots and nanowires. Pumping in presence of interactions as well as spin pumping should be studied. General relation between geometric phases and pumping should be explored. Brower’s formula should be generalized for interacting systems.
