My research area is theoretical condensed matter physics. My main interests are the non-equilibrium dynamics of interacting quantum many-body systems and the emergence of novel quantum phases due to strong correlations. I aim to understand material properties using various techniques of many-body theory. Specific research topics are graphene, topological insulators, quantum magnetism, quantum information and cold-atom gases.
