In order to obtain the certificate (Schein) with 12 ECTS points [Theorie der kondensierten Materie II: Vielteilchentheorie, Grundlagen und Vertiefungen]  it is necessary to achieve at least 60% of all the possible points in both halves of the semester.  

For a certificate with 8 ECTS [Theorie der kondensierten Materie II: Vielteilchentheorie, Grundlagen] points at least 60% of the points of the first half of the semester + 20% of the points from the second half of the semester have to be obtained. Here the first and second half of the semester refer to Übungsblatt 1 - 7 and Übungsblatt 8 - 13, respectively.

Students who need only 2 ECTS points (to be added to the previously obtained 12 ECTS points in TKM I) do not need to solve the exercise problems. The 2 ECTS points will be awarded during the oral exam, where the student is responsible for the whole TKM I course (12 ECTS points) plus the zero-temperature Green's function technique from the TKM II.

At the beginning of each tutorial the participants will mark the problems they worked out (meaning that they are able to present their solutions on the blackboard).
